2009 Mary Pickford Silent Film Festival

This past year marked the first ever Encinitas Silent Film Festival. Mary Pickford was our obvious subject. It was the 100 anniversary of her debut into film and she had strong ties to Encinitas. We were honored to work in conjunction with the Mary Pickford Institute, the Library of Congress, the UCLA film archive and the internationally recognized conductor, Robert Israel.
Three days and eight films later!
